Frost Encouraging Entrepreneurial Spirit

CORNWALL - Brock Frost, a local real-estate investor and community man, is setting up scholarships at two local schools to be awarded annually to students displaying an entrepreneurial spirit upon graduation.

Founder and Past President of the Cornwall Business Network, BROCK FROST is highly involved in the business community and partnered with Candy Pollard from the Cornwall Business Entreprise Centre in 2013 to launch Eagle’s Nest, Cornwall’s own version of the hit show Dragon’s Den. As a graduate of C.C.V.S., Brock also created The Brock Frost Entrepreneurship Award. This scholarship awards $1000 to the graduating student who possesses the most “entrepreneurial” spirit and ambition.

Local Entrepreneurs Enter the Nest for Golden Egg

Three business leaders took five entrepreneurs through the ropes of pitching a business plan Wednesday on the Eagles' Nest.

The competition -- similar to the CBC's Dragon's Den -- included Brock Frost, Julia Lucio and Francois Desormeaux as panelists, who together offered up $6,000 in cash prize for the top three entrepreneurs.


Beatles Tribute to Benefit Port Theatre

In celebration of the 50-year anniversary of the British invasion by the Beatles, the Port Theatre, along with Alkaline Entertainment, Brock Frost and Mark MacDonald, will be hosting Revolution, a Beatles Tribute band, on April 11. "It will be an awesome experience," said MacDonald. CORNWALL - Brock Frost said curious people have already been poking around his newest entrepreneurial adventure at 130 Sydney St.

The building's history plays a part in what Frost is hoping will be a bright future as a business and networking hub, "an incubator for ideas," he said.
